Gon' finish the rawing of the cranks, lacquer them, and the forks - might wirewool those first - and possibly to spray the frame red. It needs new grips pronto.

Could raw the bars to match the forks, too.

If you mean, the colony sect you bought, sold to JonMack, who sold it to Nickkkk, who sold it to me, then yes.

But it could've just been JonMack's from new, I'm unsure of its history before then.

I want it to be this sort of colour:

:)

Yeah, it rides rather nice. The brake's not great, but I think a new cable, lever and a good setup will fix that.

try new pads first, the clear kind, if im right your pads are like bricks.

My pads are cane creek ones. JonMack tells me he had the brake set up really well, but a few things frustrate me about it, being the lever was really short (although I understand why) and the cabel not being a linear one. I think if I change the cable, it will make a good difference, but the important thing is to get the brake to bite more. It's got plenty of hold, but that's no use when you're in a manual, and you pull the brake and nothing happens. The big scab on my arm is proof that's no good :)

What to people reckon to my choice of colour?

Are you sure youve set the brake up right. Try watching this http://bmx.transworld.net/2008/01/08/how-t...all-990-brakes/

The bite is a problem with the pads, not the brake. It's set up good now, very smooth, but still no bite.
