Hi chaps, i joined here to get some info when rebuilding the bottom bracket on this haro Blammo, and now its finished i thought i'd post some pics. about a month ago i pulled the frame out of the shed and had it powder coated. everything except the wheels, tyres and pedals are new or refurbed to new. i will get the wheels rechromed one day, but they run true and the bearings are really good so i' m not arsed with them at the moment, i just want to get out and enjoy it. (no petrol needed for this toy :) ) All thats left to do is source some haro multisurface rap tyres if possible, rechrome the wheels as said and source a decal set.

Haro Blammo 1999 Frame.
Forks and stem to match. Odyssey headset + gyro
Blank grips in pink
Unknown bars. - not the brand, literally, i dont know :)
dirty harry brake lever
Haro std 3 piece crank, with all new cageless bearings in the bottom bracket.
Hoffman 46t crank (its for cruising really, just a summer hack)
Odyssey Jim C magnesium pedals. Sealed bearings.
Haro Heffer pro 48spoke rims. double walled, sealed bearings.
KMC chain
Haro seat post chopped in half + cheapo seat railed, not pivot.
?? seat clamp.
cheapo chain tensioners.

Its just "finished" in these pics, it hasn't been setup yet, i need to adjust it all and the seat post is just sat in cos i cant find the allen bolt for the clamp. but i went on a test ride and she's all good. alot lighter than my others too, which is nice.

Not sure if this will appeal to anyone on here, but still. :) I realise its a slightly older skool build and style, but thats how i like 'em. :)

i know i'm gonna sound old with this but... When i was first into bmx this is what everyone was riding, i was 13/14, couldn't afford any nice bits really, my bmx was my pride and joy but was a bag of shit GT dyno, and this is the kind of bike i always wanted, so i built myself one. simple as. :)
