its lighter, and much easyer to dissasemble a bike with only a front brake, and i much prefer to use my front brake over the rear.

and another point is that when you slam the brake on with rears, you skid which balds the tyres quicker, with front you have less chance of skidding :)

and the brakets on the rear are for U brakes, and trying to set and adjust rear U brakes is a nightmare, and i have very small patience span lol

ok back brake is better than front, well more ossential (can't spell) in brake matters. as beggining to learn fakies, tire taps and mannel will be alot harder with out that crucial back brake. and i agree with leicester, save up as i think it's time for you to up-grade (what im currently doing). and also if somthings new, dosn't mean it's better.

agreed.

but hey if you can ride it sweet.

and i disagree that you need a back brake to learn to manual and fakie. i learnt both without.

if you arent running a back brake however, you might aswell go brakeless.

slamming a front brake is more dangerous than brakeless anyway, you just go right over the bars.

and as for grips/ front(instead of back) brake making a significant difference to the weight.

but hey. buy a new bike and get out and ride it. :)
