Not a fan of the 3.5s but it's quite a smart build. Well done :)

No i'm okay. I've seen the 3.5 in person in red and it looks horrid. The tapered rear end tubes are disgusting and the graphics are the same. Plus i'm not really sure if i even like my rear end as it is on my LAF. I preferred it when it was a little longer. The 28/10 gear brings it in allot.

And you havn't ridden it?

It's the most dialled frame on the go.

to be honest, I never noticed the tapered tubes.

The graphics are nice.

But the ONLY thing you could fault it on is the tear drop downtube. But even that works and it's personal taste.

No, wasn't tempted in the slightest, sorry to say. I don't think a super short back end helps in all honesty.

there are definite benefits in terms of quick spinny response. but there are negatives in terms of stability and how much grunt you can throw into a hop.

I'm hopping about the same on the lofi as i was on my federal - which is higher then I managed on the colony - but I'm not able to put as much pasty behind it at speed cos you have to change technique a bit

horses for courses though innit

At the end of the day, personal preference's.

But if you want stability add .25" to the toptube.

Nope. Ran those pedals for about 2.5 years. From Hardtail to freeride to the BMX.

Only stripped them once and they're fine.

To see how wombolts work, look here: Odyssey Installation Instructions

And no problems mounting them.

So that's why you bought a new stem. :)
